Context
Context
Building Bridges is a professional networking event connecting immigrants and international professionals in Ireland across multiple industry sectors. Since its second edition, the event has grown from a small community gathering into a structured multi-room professional event, attracting an average of 350 attendees per edition.
The challenge was to create a visual identity that felt professional and credible to a senior business audience, while remaining warm, accessible and easy to navigate for first-time attendees from diverse backgrounds. Every edition required a full refresh of all materials within the same consistent brand system, applied across a different venue each year.

SOLUTION
SOLUTION
The approach was to build a scalable visual identity system rather than one-off assets, so that each new edition could be produced consistently without rebuilding from scratch. The core design language relies on three principles: colour to create immediate recognition, directional arrows to guide movement, and clear typography to communicate without language barriers.
For the 5th edition, this system expanded to include a mobile-first digital hub accessible via QR code, allowing attendees to navigate rooms, check the conference schedule, find facilities and submit feedback directly from their phones without downloading any app.

Outcome
Outcome
The visual system has been maintained and evolved across four editions under the Building Bridges name, with the 5th edition serving 297 attendees across 15 professional rooms and one main conference room at ICOT College, Dublin 2.
The mobile hub, introduced in the 5th edition, replaced all printed schedule handouts and allowed real-time navigation across the venue. The wayfinding system successfully guided attendees across multiple floors with no dedicated stewards required for room direction.
The identity continues to be the foundation of all event communications, sponsorship proposals and promotional materials.
